KIZZRock
Parents who are tired of classic children’s music and prefer a rockier pace can rejoice: the children’s rockers of KIZZRock are here!
KIZZRock now have their fourth album in their luggage. With their “Blablabla” they have managed to combine real rock, hard rock and heavy metal songs with child-friendly lyrics – which pleases not only the young clientele but also the parents.
The album won two awards at the German Rock & Pop Prize: 2nd place among the best children’s song albums and 3rd place for German lyrics. That is remarkable for electric-guitar-heavy rock music, which is atypical in children’s music.
Whether numbers created entirely by frontman Zandta-Klaus (Klaus Schreiber) himself, such as the title song “Blablabla”, “Gummibärchenbaum” or “Schoko-Schoko-La-La”, or classic traditionals like “Hänsel und Gretel” or “Es tanzt ein… Butzemann”, the original lyrics, polished melodies and at times hard guitar riffs always find their way into the ear.
Especially live, this six-piece band is really worth seeing! With their rousing music and a constant barrage of action and good cheer they offer the kids a thrilling rock show – and whet their appetite for the big concerts and festivals. Real grassroots work.
That this dynamic band are no longer unknowns is also shown by collaborations with the greats of earlier times, e.g. with Extrabreit and the reinterpreted and adapted classic “Hurra, Hurra die Schule brennt”, which the two bands re-recorded together. Rio Reiser’s NDW anthem “König von Deutschland” also became, with kind permission, the children’s king.
Away with boredom in the children’s rooms and out with the kiddies to playgrounds and open-air concerts. Bring on the good cheer, which the KIZZRockers spread almost unstoppably, true to their battle cry: Rock ‘n’ Roll? Jawoll!
