The band RAFIKI stands for German-language ska-punk. Catchy horn themes complement powerful punk rock, groovy reggae parts and fast offbeats perfectly. Together with melodic multi-part vocals, the result is an unmistakable sound that goes straight into the ear. Since 2002 the five likeable guys from Lower Franconia have been providing summer, sun, fun and ska-punk!

This positive attitude to life is transmitted to the audience instantly, especially live: whether at a club concert or on the festival stage – at RAFIKI the party is excessive! A hefty dose of joy in playing, lots of wit and plenty of power characterise the band on stage. Joint concerts with well-known greats testify to their live quality.
