MAIVA lies somewhere between “scrappy-romantic” and “straight in your face”. Her lyrics are unapologetically honest & sometimes a little impudent, served with a dash of agave syrup.

MAIVA knows how to provoke without losing her humour. Still, she allows herself to be thoughtful now and then: heartbreak – ouch, but MAIVA shakes it off.
