Luisa Laakmann

Luisa Laakmann is a singer-songwriter, guitarist and drummer from North Rhine-Westphalia with Portuguese roots. She is at home in the world and takes people along on journeys inwards and outwards.

After years as a (street) musician in South America, her music is full of adventure, a mood of freedom and the rhythm of life. She combines percussive, campfire-ready singer-songwriting with poetic lyrics and natural guitar accompaniment with crisp beats in an epic reggae-rock sound.

Staying seated is difficult here, dancing happens almost automatically, but lovers of poetry and depth also get their money’s worth – her penetrating messages go deep under the skin, right to the heart.
