Hertzcasper

Hertzcasper is a new, noteworthy voice in the German music world. To her special hip-hop-soul-pop blend she sings, on the one hand, in laconic, light-footed lyrics about summer and the headache the morning after the party; on the other hand, with a mix of longing and world-weariness, she also hits exactly the right nerve with her audience.

On stage with her is a band that, with vibey guitar and keyboard and a strong electric bass/drum/percussion section, lets nobody stand still on the spot. Hertzcasper’s themes are as private as they are political. The result is a conglomerate of melancholy and humour poured into unconventional pop music. It is simply fun.
