Guru Guru – madness for the whole family! Guru Guru have come a long way: from the deepest depths of the underground they surfaced into the realms of modern sounds and the most varied styles of playing – schooled in jazz, pioneers (!) of German-language rock music, hardened by the rough treatment of the local show business – they now combine skill, fireworks of ideas, energy, playful wit and joy with a thrilling and sensational show.

Drumming legend Mani Neumeier on drums is the constant through all the years. The names of his fellow musicians read like the encyclopaedia of German rock music: more than 30 record productions, countless side projects and collaborations, roughly 3,400 concerts, participation in several films, appearances on radio and television (among others as the first German band at WDR Rockpalast in 1976, with a reprise in 2005) and immortalisation in the wax museum in Tokyo speak for themselves.

Guru Guru means: a far-out mix of rock, funk, jazz, world music, electronics and and and – name it – you’d get it! Plus the show of the officially-mad drummer Mani Neumeier – the shaman from the Odenwald!
