David Gramberg
With “Autumn Comes”, David Gramberg first draws attention to himself.
Over 9 million Spotify streams, 450,000 Instagram reels and 120,000 TikTok creations for his autumn song alone speak for themselves and show his feel for catchy melodies and captivating hooklines in English-language indie pop. This year the singer-songwriter with the unmistakable voice continues the journey and now expresses his thoughts and feelings in German. Themes such as change, letting go, breaking out and arriving remain central motifs for the musician.
A significant step in this artistic development is his setting of the poem “Ich bin die Zeit” by Erich Kästner – the herald, so to speak, of his first German-language EP “Und was, wenn nicht”, released in 2024. With five songs the EP spans an arc from rousing choruses to moments of vulnerability, trust and longing. David Gramberg is as much a realist as an optimist, who observes closely and here and there begins to dream and invites you to dream. His music thus finds a balance between clear statements, melancholy and the beautiful things that make life worth living and loving.
After the release of his debut EP “Where Have You Gone” and support shows for artists such as Joris and Sportfreunde Stiller, David Gramberg and his band head out on their second small headline tour in November 2024. His live show promises an electrifying excursion, musically diverse and multi-faceted. One moment he hammers pitch-black into the keys of his fire-red piano while, guitar on his back, he makes the floor shake with loud stomping in time – the next he carries the audience off to other worlds with a soulful ballad. David Gramberg effortlessly masters taking his listeners along on this musical rollercoaster ride and casting his spell over them. A concert experience that hits the pulse of the times and breaks musical boundaries – an absolute must-see for indie-pop enthusiasts!
