Visitors with pets/livestock will therefore be refused entry to the festival grounds. We provide several water points, which you will find at central spots such as the far end of the campsite and at the signpost on the way to the grounds. So a water canister of your own – ideally one with wheels, given the distance – is an advantage. You can fill up with water there free of charge. On the grounds, you can wash your hands at the basins provided next to the mobile toilets. !!! Please note: The water at the water points is not certified as drinking water. Consume at your own risk !!! You may drive your car onto the camping areas and pitch a tent next to it. There is no longer a separate tent-only site. Our space is limited, so in everyone’s interest please keep the space for your car small, or park it in the car parks. If you drive out again, we cannot let you back in – you will have to park in the designated car parks outside the campsite. If you want to leave the campsite during the festival period, you should likewise park in the designated car parks outside the campsite. Without a ticket or festival wristband, access to the campsites is not permitted. No, our marshals will direct you and your vehicles into place one after the other. Ideally, arrive as a group at the same time in a convoy, otherwise you will most likely not be direct neighbours. If friends with tents arrive later, you can surely arrange with your neighbours to squeeze them in between. Keep escape and emergency routes clear – we have to be strict about that and unfortunately will have to move you on otherwise. As a rule, we do not allow day visitors to stay overnight on the campsite. If we catch you on the campsite the following evening with a day ticket, you have harmed us and our fellow festival-goers and we reserve the right to take further action. The reason is that you would be obtaining services without paying the price we have to ask from everyone else, and would thus be living at the community’s expense without entitlement. #seidsguadmitanand The camping and parking fee as well as the land-use fee are included in the ticket price. For camper vans there is once again a parking area with space for tents. The marshals will direct your vehicles and take you to the most suitable spot available. Because of the limited space in Dornstadt we have to get campers onto the campsite as quickly as possible, so as not to block the main access road to the village for the residents any longer than necessary. So if you are arriving with several campers, please line up in a convoy in the queue for the campsite. We cannot guarantee shared camping for latecomers. When parking your vehicles, please save as much space as possible, for the sake of everyone who wants to arrive with a camping vehicle. Our marshals will be happy to help you. Yes, that can happen. By entering/driving onto our event grounds/the camping area and the access routes, you agree that we may photograph or film you, as is customary at festivals, and may process and publish the material accordingly, ourselves or through third parties (e.g. our photographers, social media service providers, exhibitors…). Of course you can actively object. You will find your rights and all addresses in our privacy policy at Privacy Policy – Wudzdog Open Air Wudzdog Open Air. Thank you – you are the best audience anyone could wish for. Because you have left the campsite so clean over the past years, we will not be charging a rubbish deposit this year either. Please keep it up! The campsite opens on Thursday at 9:00, and we ask you to leave the camping grounds by Monday 12:00 noon. Parking and camping are only permitted with a valid entry wristband on the areas designated by us. Parking and camping anywhere on the festival grounds without an entry wristband, as well as outside the festival grounds on the surrounding fields and private land and in the surrounding woods, is prohibited by special order of the public order office and the nature conservation authority and will be prosecuted by the police. Please stick to this so that we can keep holding our festival at this location. Our helpers and the local fire brigades will direct you in the car parks. Please follow the traffic instructions without fail, as the narrow access and emergency routes mean we must strictly comply with the conditions imposed on us. Parking and camping are at your own risk. We accept no liability for damage to parked vehicles or for stolen or damaged items! To make sure all of you get wonderful festival days, we have set up a few rules for our camping area: Please always keep the escape routes on the campsite clear for the paramedics! Not allowed in the camp are: Gazebos over 10m² Sound systems Power generators / generator sets Fridges Beer kegs over 5 litres Megaphones Illegal substances covered by the BtMG (Narcotics Act) and/or the AMG (Medicinal Products Act) Fireworks Sky lanterns! (please think of the environment here too) Open (camp)fires Furniture (sofas, armchairs, etc.) Building materials Laser pointers Liquid barbecue lighters Anything covered by section § 42 a of the Weapons Act (WaffG), in particular one-hand knives and fixed-blade knives with a blade length of 12cm Jam sessions and get-togethers are of course very welcome, but in everything you do, please respect your neighbours and nature! We fill the campsites from the front (close to the infield) to the back. If you arrive very early, you will be close to the festival grounds, with more noise from the stages’ music until 4 am. From Thursday around 14:00 you will already be quite a distance from the grounds. We have no separate family campsite; thanks to the quiet hours on the campsites and the long opening hours of the infield, it is quiet there. You can travel by public transport (bus and train) to Nördlingen, Oettingen and Wassertrüdingen. You will find information on this e.g. on the Deutsche Bahn website (bahn.de) or on the regional notices at the respective stations. For the onward journey from Nördlingen, Oettingen or Wassertrüdingen to Dornstadt – Auhausen, however, we recommend car-sharing or taking a taxi. Taxi information is available at the railway stations. No, for a festival of our size that is currently not feasible. But we keep our eyes and ears open for shuttle options! The campsite opens on Thursday at 10:00. Unfortunately, admission before that time is not possible! Please bear this in mind when planning your journey. Unfortunately you can only load and unload your cars in the car park. The reason is the narrow access and emergency routes, as well as the routing and safety concept that we are legally obliged to implement strictly. The access and emergency routes must not be blocked by unloading vehicles even on arrival. These rules exist so that we can offer you a safe festival at all times. There is no luggage transport this year, because you can drive straight onto the campsite with your car – provided everyone in it has a valid ticket. You can of course drive out again, but then you will have to leave your car in the designated car parks outside (for example at the Hangwiese in front of the grounds). If the festival has to be cancelled or interrupted due to storms, severe weather, heavy rain, pandemic-related circumstances or other force majeure, please follow the instructions of our security staff and our team. If you have hurt yourself, our paramedic team will look after you right at the upper emergency exit. Of course you can also ask our security staff for help or directions at any time. No. Every year a hose with refreshingly cool water is laid out. There is no shower cubicle. Please think of the environment and use only biodegradable products. No, the nearest cash machine is in Auhausen. Bring enough cash with you and keep it safe. Our stallholders will have a rich range of goods on offer. At the festival itself there is of course plenty of variety in food and drink. Should you still need something that cannot be found at the festival, the nearest shops and larger discount supermarkets are in Öttingen or Wassertrüdingen. No. But very friendly neighbours on the campsite 🙂 Honestly, very poor – and as soon as the festival starts, practically non-existent. To cool off on warm days you can go swimming in the Stöckenweiher. During the day the water rescue service looks after your safety. In general, though, you always go into the water at your own risk. There are guesthouses, hotels, holiday flats… However, there is no shuttle service to the festival. The Ries is a very popular destination for hikers, cyclists, canoeists, bouldering and climbing enthusiasts, and offers plenty of room for all kinds of sporting activities. The cultural and historical side certainly isn’t neglected in our Ries Geopark either. Besides historic towns such as Oettingen and Nördlingen, once part of the Roman Empire, you can travel much further back along the timeline and marvel at a cosmic catastrophe from over 14.5 million years ago in the crater landscape. Back then an asteroid struck the Earth and carved out a huge crater whose impressive traces can still be seen today. Of course there are plenty of options for camping enthusiasts, from tent pitches and campsites to the absolute insider tips you will pick up in conversations at the festival. Day tickets go on sale online no later than 2 months before the festival starts. If constant assistance is required, admission for the accompanying person is free of charge. Please present your valid ticket and your disability ID with the “B” mark at the entrance. If you have no e-mail address or no way of making a bank transfer, ask a friend or acquaintance from the Wudzdog family. They will surely be happy to help you buy a ticket. If nothing at all works, write to us via the contact form and we will find a solution. Your QR code may only be used once and is only issued once. However, it is your responsibility to make sure nobody but you checks in with your ticket, as otherwise your ticket is void. So make sure your ticket is used only by you and never post photos of it. As long as the allocation is not sold out, tickets can also be bought at the box office on site. You can find information on this on our website in the Tickets section. Children up to 16 years, i.e. children who have not yet completed their 15th year, have free admission to the festival. Up to the age of 14, however, they must be accompanied by a parent or grandparent. No ticket purchase is necessary! From the age of 16, a ticket must be purchased. With the QR code on your ticket you will receive your festival wristband at the Kreuz. Please have your printed ticket ready, or your e-ticket on your charged smartphone or smartwatch. We collect personal data so that we can let you in even if you have forgotten your ticket. We are aware of our responsibility and treat this subject very sensitively. To protect your privacy, this data is stored in compliance with data protection law and absolutely securely. No spirits are sold to young people under 18, and no beer or wine-based alcoholic drinks to young people under 16. Unfortunately we have to disappoint you. If you are not yet of age, you must leave the festival grounds at the prescribed times, unless you are accompanied by a person with parental authority (usually your parents). Transferring guardianship to an authority figure with a corresponding “supervision note” would mean an enormous extra burden for us as organisers, from the entrance checks right through to the checks by our security team. Children under 14 may only visit the Wudzdog festival accompanied by their parents. This also applies to overnight stays on the campsite. Without an accompanying adult, young people aged 14 to 16 must leave the festival at 22:00 and young people aged 16 to 18 at 24:00. Accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, you may stay on the festival grounds after 24:00.Animals
