The Leif de Leeuw Band is Europe’s flagship band when it comes to southern rock jam. The six-piece band offers a show with brilliant guitar solos, two duelling drummers and punchy Hammond sounds, in which improvisation takes centre stage. Bandleader Leif de Leeuw was voted best blues-rock guitarist of the Benelux countries eight times in a row, and singer Sem Jansen is the winner of the Dutch TV show “Hit the Road”.

The six-piece band offers a show full of impressive guitar solos, two competing drummers, exploding Hammond sounds and powerful songs with plenty of room for improvisation. Over the past ten years they have built up an international reputation on tours through Europe, the USA and China.

After an Allman Brothers tribute tour in the Netherlands and Europe in 2018 and 2019 it was clear which new musical path they should take. A formation with two drummers, a Hammond, a bass, two electric guitars and Sem’s raw vocals. Every song offers room for solos and improvisation, which makes every show unique. Their sound can be described as a successful mix of rock, blues, Americana, country and southern rock, combined with soulful lyrics and a pleasant 70s vibe.
